Two brothers and a third man have been charged in the weekend slaying of a man whose body was found dumped off the Trout River bridge after a drug deal gone bad, authorities said.
Terrell Reed, 22, Tevin Reed, 19 and Rashard Philmore, 18, are charged with murder and armed robbery in Saturday’s death of Jeffrey May, 28.

A man was shot behind a packed restaurant on Jacksonville's Southside, sending customers bolting for the doors Saturday night, police said.
Sgt. Shawn Coarsey of the Sheriff's Office said shots were heard just after midnight Saturday and when police arrived a man was lying in the area behind the restaurant with gunshot wounds. He was taken to Shands Jacksonville hospital in critical condition and his wounds are life-threatening, Coarsey said.
